We are partnering with industry leaders to support Ballet Austin in 2025. This donation will involve labor and materials for the renovation of an Austin area home valued up to $1.5 million.

Not only is this one of the largest donation projects we have ever done,
but the largest Ballet Austin has ever received.

The Miracle Project | 2022

The Story…

Alabaster has been huge fans of Ballet Austin and what they do for our community. Build 512 has been donating renovation projects to Ballet Austin at their Feté Gala for the last several years. With three years under our belt and 4 projects donated, we have been proudly partnering with Ballet Austin in their mission to involve and strengthen our community through the creation and experience of dance and the encouragement of health and well-being.

In March of 2024, Ballet Austin’s Development Director, Christi Lotz, approached Alabaster (formerly Build 512) to see if we could do the same donation despite not having a Gala in 2025. In an effort to reach Ballet Austin’s financial donation goals, we wanted to partner on a bigger project. This birthed the idea for a whole home renovation valued at $1.5 million.

With this project being so large, the conversation has started now. We will have a series of events to find our partners, donors and team to make 2025 a great year for the community of Austin.

The Alabaster Team

Our First Partner

One of our first priorities was gathering a design team to coordinate all of our partners in creating a beautiful home. Jen Murrill with Wheelhouse Design was first to mind. With a background in Architecture and years of experience in the Austin area, we knew that her talent and heart would pair well for this special project.

More from Wheelhouse Design:

We strive to be memorable and make an impact, creating something unique and special, always. We are open and curious, actively listening, asking questions, and offering solutions, in a perpetual state of innovation. We are precise and consistent, practicing collective creativity and problem-solving, giving more than expected with high standards. We are connected and related, promoting positivity and communicating openly, with full transparency, and sharing ideas and expertise in an honest and realistic fashion to set clear expectations.
